A Brief History for the Kilkis Chamber

A. General Retrospect

The distant ancestors of Chamber, is the «Sample», location of Piraeus, in Ancient Greece, where merchants exposed their products and their goods for sale.

The institution’s modern name is formed in average times with the large gatherings and demonstrations of the derivatives and traders in France. This institution is strengthened by the changes that followed after the French Revolution.

In our country after the Independent Greek State creation, the first Chambers are established, according to the Royal Decree of 22 May.

B. Kilkis Chamber in the evolution time

The Kilkis Chamber was founded in 1981. During its operation was linked to any important economic event in the region by monitoring, contributing and forming the Prefecture growth.

Throughout its operation, the Kilkis Camper actively involved in developing the prefecture business community, with large and smaller dozens actions, as part of its mission.
